Basement Tanking Liverpool: What We Waterproof
Everything we tank and waterproof across Liverpool and Merseyside

Full basement tanking for new builds, conversions and commercial buildings — floors, walls and junctions sealed as one continuous membrane.
Lift Pits & Lift Shafts

Podium Decks & Car Park Decks
Waterproofing to structural decks above basements and undercrofts, protecting the structure beneath.
Tanks & Retaining Structures
Mastic asphalt can also keep liquids in — lining tanks, bunds and retaining structures where water must be held rather than excluded.
Flat Roof & Balcony Waterproofing
The same seamless waterproofing applied to flat roofs, balconies and walkways. See our roofing services.
Why Mastic Asphalt Is the Proven Way to Tank a Basement
Mastic asphalt tanking is the traditional, specification-grade way to waterproof below-ground structures, and it is still used on major buildings for good reason. It is applied hot in multiple coats and sets as it cools into one seamless, joint-free barrier that is bonded to the structure. There are no laps, seams or fixings for water to find its way through.
Unlike cement-based tanking slurries, asphalt stays flexible enough to cope with minor movement, and unlike cavity drain membranes it needs no pumps or ongoing maintenance. It has a service life measured in decades.
We tank basements and cellars in homes, flats, shops and commercial buildings across Liverpool, the Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens and the wider North West, working for homeowners, builders, architects and main contractors.
